After moving to Charleston, our founder, Chris Rodriguez, needed more parking space and reached out to a local concrete contractor. When the crew arrived, he struck up a conversation with the workers about the trade and saw an opportunity. With a push from his ex-wife to find steady work, he started the company the very next day. For two years, he worked hands-on in the field, pouring and finishing sidewalks, driveways, and more, learning every aspect of the trade from the ground up.
